Enabling & Muting

News Pulse is off by default. You must opt in.

/news_pulse on

Confirms with a reply. You’ll start receiving News Pulse alerts immediately for any subsequent fires.

/news_pulse off

Stops News Pulse alerts. Your regular keyword alerts are unaffected.

/me

Shows your role and whether News Pulse is enabled.

If you want to keep News Pulse on but quiet for a window (sleeping, in a meeting, etc.), just mute the PvP Tools chat in Telegram. The alerts will queue silently and you can scroll back later. The bot has no per-account quiet hours.

  • Pro tier. News Pulse is a Pro-only feature. Freemium users can run /news_pulse on but won’t actually receive alerts.

What happens to alerts during a brief disable

Section titled “What happens to alerts during a brief disable”

If you disable News Pulse and the bot fires alerts in the meantime, those fires are gone for you — there’s no replay queue. The fire is still recorded internally (visible in argus-scan.com/trader), but no message is sent to your Telegram.

So treat /news_pulse off as “I don’t want these for a while” rather than “remind me later.”
