News Pulse Overview
News Pulse is an opt-in alert stream that fires when a Pump.fun mint links its twitter to a tweet from one of ~46 watchlist accounts and crosses the $20,000 market cap threshold.
The watchlist mixes news (Bloomberg, ZeroHedge, Reuters), crypto media (WatcherGuru, CoinDesk-adjacent), and key personalities in Solana / memecoin culture (Toly, prominent traders, regular memecoin attention drivers).
Why this exists
Section titled “Why this exists”A specific pattern shows up over and over in pump.fun trading: a popular tweet drops, someone deploys a memecoin around the news within minutes, and the mint either explodes or rugs in the same hour. News Pulse exists to alert you to the second of those two events early enough to participate (or skip) intelligently.
The signal isn’t “this will pump.” It’s “this mint exists, it’s tied to attention you can verify, and on-chain filters didn’t flag it as an obvious rug.” You still have to decide.
How it differs from keyword alerts
Section titled “How it differs from keyword alerts”| Keyword Alerts | News Pulse | |
|---|---|---|
| Trigger source | Your custom keyword list | Curated watchlist (fixed) |
| Fires on | Every matching mint | Only mints crossing $20k MC |
| Includes filtering? | Some | All filters active (fresh-dev, 2-hop launder, non-pump.fun, etc.) |
| Default state | On for any keyword you add | Off — explicit opt-in required |
| Available to | All tiers | Pro only |
You can run both at once. They don’t conflict — a mint matching your keyword AND a watchlist tweet will fire one of each.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”A News Pulse alert looks like a regular alert with two differences:
- Header shows
📰 NEWS PULSE · $20k+instead of the keyword match - The
Source:line names the watchlist author whose tweet triggered the chain
